ACCOMODATION

For overnight, we can combine the stay on the boat for whole period, or stay in Rimba
Lodge. We will charge you the additional cost if you stay in Rimba Lodge. Please note if you will stay in Rimba Lodge, dinner is not include in the price (personal expenses).

When you stay on traditional wooden boat for the whole night, it is make the Orangutan Trip price is COMPETITIVE and you also have MORE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE WILDLIFE. The accommodation on the boat provides you a better opportunity of sighting the crocodile, birds, monkeys and other animals at dusk or down at their night time resting place in the trees at the riverside. In the morning you will be waked up by the morning dew and ""the concert of tropical rain forest creatures". A healthy meals for dinner and Breakfast is prepared by our expert cooks on Indonesian cuisine. The boat is spacious 6 x 2 meters, which forms a roof and accommodates for 5 - 6 peoples. You can sleep on it or inside the boat separated with the guides and the boat crews. The boat facilitated with Clean mattresses, pillows, mosquito net and a simple toilet are available on board.

RIMBA LODGE is a riverside lodge across the river near Tanjung Harapan. The river side has a very nice surrounding with the forest background , a lot of faunas to see and observe too. stay in RIMBA LODGE, might give more comfortable feeling of nature. Because this hotel was built around Tanjung Puting forest with natural touch. It's complete with hot water and air-conditioner, for those who couldn't stand of heat in rain forest. This place allow you to have a nice sleep and good wash for the whole days.

RIMBA LODGE:
The word RIMBA means JUNGLE or FOREST in the Indonesian language. Located on the left side of river Sekonyer, 10 minutes upriver from Tanjung Harapan Orangutan Rehabilitation Center. The lodge is simple, clean and shady as trees cover it. Build with Dayak architectures, spacious and air-ness. There are 15 river-edge bedrooms and 20 room's inland with chilling fan and teak bathrooms. The restaurant is spacious with Chinese and Western food. The lodge has been accommodated successfully for the hundred delegates who attended the GREAT APE CONFERENCE. . Clients can also paddle a canoe along the river banks near by.
