Putih Orangutan cruise Bali-Kalimantan DAY
1: Departure from Benoa Harbor at 09:00. Full day of sailing with breathtaking
views of Balis Mt. Agung and Batur. DAY 2: Arrival at Kangean. Visit
of a village. Beach stop in the afternoon. DAY 3: Next day stop at Madura island
for cultural visit of this magnificent island. DAY 4: Bawean beach day on the
way to Kalimantan. DAY 5: When Ombak Putih arrives in Kalimantan, the famous
orangutan magic starts
Morning arrival at Kumai harbor with breakfast on
board a traditional klotok boat to Tanjung Puting National Park. Your day starts
with a ride on the traditional boat called Klotok to explore the quite and placid
river on a traditional boat 2 x 6 - meter wide (many past tourists of us call
it "African Queen" river boat style). In this so-called "magical
trip", you will watch the ex-captive orangutans re -introduced to their natural
habitat. Your first stop will be Pondok Tanggui for feeding time of the Orangutan.
Many of them
which have already successfully rehabilitated still come to the rehabilitation
center at Camp Leakey station to visit the rangers and to interact with the new
coming Orangutans. Familiarization with the Station and Rehab Center, their activities
and research during the lunch on the traditional klotok boat. During an afternoon
trek, we may also encounter wild orangutans during easy trekking around the Camp
Leakey which is also a research center area. you will visit the surroundings of
the Camp where you can search for wild orangutans as well as other endemic species
of Kalimantan and other exotic fauna and flora. You
have a chance to see the feeding time in this area. In the late afternoon back
to Ombak Putih by Klotok for dinner and an evening on the river. DAY 6: Early
morning breakfast then, Tanjung Harapan rehabilitation center for searching the
wild or rehabilitated Orangutan beside the other wild life. Visit of Kumai village
and back to Kumai Harbor for your lunch on Ombak Putih and sailing to near-by
Senggura island for a swim and snorkeling. DAY 7: Transfer to the airport and
flight Back to Bali. 09:00 a.m. from OP, 09:30 to airport and 10:30 flight. Kalimantan
- Bali DAY 1: On the first day, transfer from the airport and afternoon
sail to Senggura Island. DAY 2: When Ombak Putih arrives in Kalimantans
