 Once
in a while you may feel the need to break away from the ordinary, to do the
unusual to touch the nature. Sepa Island has it "nature" and has long been
admired for white sandy beaches, crystal clear water surrounding and teeming
with marine life. The island is small oval-shaped of 5 hectares and
approximately 45 miles north away from Jakarta.
Sepa
Island has outstanding white sandy beaches for sunning, turquoise water
surround for swimming and snorkeling. The crystal clear water, coral reefs
formation and teeming with interesting marine life make this island popularly
known as "Paradise for Divers".
Inexpensive boat dives from Sepa Island to the dive spots is
available.
Accommodations:
There are 43 neat and clean
air-conditioned cottages, built in small native designed with private showers,
a lavatory and terrace facing to the sea. A spacious restaurant will provide
meals in different tasty menu from Western, Chinese and Indonesian, including
seafood. At the same place in restaurant, there are a discotheque ready for
your night entertainment.
Recreation Facilities:
Glass bottom boat, banana boat,
jet-ski, fishing boat and dive sport is available.
Transportation:
Sepa Island is reachable by boat in
about 90 minutes from Marina Ancol.
